Open Training Masterclass
A masterclass on whistleblowing and best practice open to those responsible for arrangements to get a better understanding of handling whistleblowing concerns:
- An overview of whistleblowing, the Public Interest Disclosure Act and key legislative changes
- Key policy messages - review your policy against best practice and understand your responsibilities
- Handling the whistleblower and the concern– delivered through interactive case studies and scenarios

In light of the FCA rules and following five very successful special training sessions we are holding our Whistleblowing Champions Masterclass quaterly. Our upcoming dates are :
- Wednesday 20th February (two spaces remaining)
- Wednesday 15th May 2019
Previous attendees have included Champions and Directors from RBS, Brewin Dolphin Ltd, Danske Bank, Prudential, Ahli United Bank, Smith & Williamson, Bank of China, Allied Irish Bank, Nationwide, Mansfield Building Society, and Lloyds Banking Group.
This will be an opportunity to meet other Champions, for peer to peer learning and to ensure you are up to date with industry best practice. Specifically the session will cover:
- embedding and evaluating best practice arrangements
- handling whistleblowing disclosures professionally and within the law
- anonymity, confidentiality and protecting the whistleblower
- overseeing arrangements, effectiveness, transparency and accountability
