Protect, (formerly Public Concern at Work) is an independent charity which receives no grant-in-aid from Government. The income we receive comes from the support packages we offer clients and fees from consultancy and our in-depth training we provide to business, governments, regulators and other organisations.
Since we formed in 1993, we have handled over 40,000 cases and each year support more than 2,500 cases a year. Completely independent, our work is not sponsored or funded. We are completely independent. Many individuals don’t know about us or how we can help them at very difficult times in their lives. We offer free and confidential advice by legally trained advisers.
